Study Permit Requirements

Please Note: All international students intending to study at Great Zimbabwe University regardless of nationality, are required by law to apply for a study permit before travelling to Zimbabwe to take up their studies. All study permits should be applied for while you are in your country of residence and you can only then proceed to travel to Zimbabwe once you have been granted a pre-clearance certificate or a study permit. 

Requirements (Documents)

1. Residence application form  (IF5) Filled in and then certified by a Commissioner of Oaths- download here)
2. Letter of acceptance from  school/college/ university
3. Proof of accommodation eg.  Undertaking by institution to provide accommodation
4. Copy of birth certificate/ passport biodata page
5. 2 passport size photos
6. Police clearance report from country of origin
7. Chest X-ray report
8. USD$200 for student’s permit application
