NOTICE OF 4th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Great Zimbabwe University 4th Annual General Meeting will be held as a hybrid event on Monday 25 November 2024 at the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development Headquarters in Harare commencing at 1430 hours.

2. CORPORATE REPORTS
To receive the following Corporate Reports for the year under review:
2.1 Chairman’s Report
To receive and consider for adoption the Chairman’s Report.
2.2 Vice Chancellor’s Report
To receive and consider for adoption the Operations Report from the Vice Chancellor.
2.3 Financial Report
To receive and consider for adoption the Financial Report from the University Bursar.
2.4 Compliance Report
To receive and consider for adoption the Compliance Report from the University Registrar.
2.5 Audit Report
2.5.1 To receive and consider for adoption the Audit Report from the External Auditors for the year ended 31 December 2023.
2.5.2 To consider and confirm payment of audit fees to Crowe Zimbabwe Chartered Accountants being USD 24 136.
2.5.3 To consider and confirm the re-appointment of Crowe Zimbabwe Chartered Accountants as External Auditors of Great Zimbabwe University for 2025, as recommended by the Auditor General.
3. DIRECTORS’ FEES
To confirm the board fees and sitting allowances payable to Non Executive Board Members for the year ended 31 December 2023 being RTGS 197 970 900.
4. CONFIRMATION OF RESOLUTIONS
To confirm and re-affirm resolutions passed at the AGM.
5. LINE MINISTER’S STATEMENT
To receive a statement from the Honourable Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development, Honourable Dr Ambassador Frederick Makamure Shava on the year under review and their expectations for the ensuing year.
