2017 GRADUATION CEREMONY

1. 1. DATE AND VENUE

• All graduating Students (the November 2016 and June 2017 classes) are hereby advised that the 2017 (11^th) Graduation Ceremony has been scheduled for 13 October 2017.
• The ceremony will be held at the University’s Main Campus Site (Near the Great Zimbabwe National Monuments).
• Graduands and their guests are supposed to be seated by 0900hrs. Graduands who arrive late will not be allowed into the Graduation Ceremony Venue.

2. REHEARSALS

• Graduation rehearsals are scheduled for Thursday the 12^th of October 2017 starting at 1400hrs at the University’s Main Campus Site (Near the Great Zimbabwe National Monuments).
• Attendance for rehearsals is compulsory and graduands who do not attend rehearsals will not be allowed to take part in the graduation proceedings.

3. GRADUANDS AND GUESTS INVITATION CARDS

• Each graduand will be allowed to bring a maximum of two (2) guests.
• Graduands will collect their invitation cards from their respective School Administrators upon production of proof of payment for graduation fees on the 12^th of October 2017.

4. OUTSTANDING TUITION FEES AND GRADUATION FEES

• Graduands with outstanding tuition fees are advised to clear the balances with the Bursar’s Department and pay the Graduation Fee of US$55 so as to be able to graduate and be included in the graduation booklet. The deadline for the payment of the Graduation Fees is the 29^th of September 2017.
• Graduands are further advised that Graduation Fees would only be accepted from those who do not have outstanding tuition fees balances.
• Please take note that Graduation Fees can be paid in cash at the Bursar’s Department or deposited into any of the following University Bank Accounts:

CBZ Bank – Masvingo Branch – Account No: 02520620340038

        ZB – Bank –  Masvingo Branch – Account No: 4407- 413851-200

• Where payment is done through RTGs, graduands are required to submit copies of such payments to the Bursar’s Department for updating and issuance of the graduation receipts.

6. GRADUATION REGALIA

• All graduands are expected to be smartly dressed (dark suits with a white shirt and a dark tie for men and white blouse and dark skirt/trousers or dark dress for ladies).
• Graduands must be in possession of the correct Academic Regalia (gown, appropriate hood and cap) for their respective Schools. Those with inappropriate Academic Regalia will be excluded from the graduation proceedings. All graduands are directed to buy the graduation regalia from approved suppliers only.

7. APPROVED GRADUATION REGALIA SUPPLIERS
